Groomer Gets Probation After Dogs Die
An Eastpointe, Mich., dog groomer was sentenced to a year of probation after two therapy dogs died when she left them in a hot truck with the windows closed. Jennifer Rainey pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges in November after two German Shepherds were left in her car for about an hour in August, the Detroit Free Press reports.
