Woman, 70 Dogs Die in Florida Mobile Home Fire
A mobile home fire in north Florida killed a 75-year-old woman and her 70 dogs. Sunday's fire in Marion County tore through the home's roof and almost all of the structure. Authorities say the unidentified woman may have been a dog breeder, The Associated Press reports.

Dog Owners Hippie It Up at WoofStock Festival
Dog owners dressed their pets in hippie attire and took them to a park in Macon, GA., to spend a day frolicking while raising money for animal adoption agencies. The Woofstock Festival on Sunday was sponsored by the FURever Friends Humane Society of Jones County. Six other midstate animal shelters also passed out doggie treats and distributed literature, The Associated Press reports.
