Junior is perceived to be a “pit bull.” The McGuinty government is determined to uphold its amendments to the Dog Owners’ Liability Act (2005), popularly referred to as the “pit bull” ban, Orangeville Citizen reports.

Some Phoenix Residents Want Dog Park at Former Hotel Site
More than 1,200 people who live, work and play in downtown Phoenix have a signed a petition asking a dog park be built on the site of the former Ramada Hotel. The proposed dog park would be built on an empty lot, right now occupied by construction equipment and dirt, a couple of blocks south on Taylor Street, ABC15.com reports.

Kennel with 68 Rare Dogs Shut Down
A Franklin County kennel that was housing 68 dogs of an extremely rare breed has been shut down for operating without a license, state officials announced Thursday. The Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement said the owner of the kennel in Willow Hill, Pa., also failed to license and vaccinate the dogs against rabies as required by law, ABC27.com reports.

It's ridiculous how afraid people are of pit bulls without even getting to know the individual dogs.

oh gosh, some things are just ridiculous. Pit Bulls being denied entrance into a place without even having a temperment test or anything.
