Pet Airways

DogChannel visited Pet Airways — a pet-only airline — for a behind-the-scenes look at the newest transportation alternative for your dog.

Dog owners who need to transport their pets by air traditionally had only two options: fly in the cabin with a small dog stowed under the seat in front of you, or transport your dog in the cargo hold of the airplane. However, dogs aren’t allowed to fly in the cargo area certain times of the year, such as the dead of winter and summer. On some airlines, flat-faced breeds aren’t allowed to fly in cargo regardless of the season.

Now, dog owners have one more option. Watch DogChannel's behind-the-scenes look at the newest transportation alternative for your dog — Pet Airways — a pet-only airline.
