We don’t know about you, but we'd buy a house from a puppy.
In an interesting advertising twist, real estate company ,Century 21, has taken over YouTube today with eight adorable, puppy cams. The YouTube homepage features a large ad that allows used to flip between videos of puppies sleeping, playing and being doggone cute.
As a tie-in to Centrury 21’s "Based on a True Feeling” campaign, in which happy clients compare the experience of working with agents to being surrounded by sweet, and fuzzy puppies, the company invites YouTube visitors to fall in "puppy love” with their dream home.
We are going to run out and buy a house, but we’ve certainly taken the first step of falling in love with the sweet little puppies.
"It is a warm and endearing feeling from which consumers can then begin their home search,” says Century 21 CMO Bev Thorne.
The company chose today’s date for the ad based on March 27 being the most popular day of the year for real estate searches last year. They expect over 27 million visitors to the homepage, but we hate to break it to them, we are too busy watching the puppy cams to search for houses.
The marketing campaign will also carry on to r/Aww on Reddit, with photos, GIFS and videos encouraging users to visit the YouTube puppy cams. We look forward to the day all Century 21 fills all of their open houses with puppies. But for now, check out the YouTube ad>>
