Anna Hiken returned home to find it ransacked. Several electronics were taken including a 55-inch TV, a PlayStation 3 and a MacBook Pro, but most upsetting to Hiken was the loss of Thor, her 13-week-old puppy that was taken out of his crate.

The Pit Bull puppy was a gift from boyfriend Mike Lenhart prior to Valentine’s Day. The puppy is described as being mostly white with black specks on his pink nose and ears that stay folded together above his head.

Aside from missing their puppy dearly, Hiken and Lenhart worry that Thor will be abandoned or mistreated by his captors because of his deafness and want him home as soon as possible.

Baltimore County police are investigating the burglary. According to a Baltimore Sun report, Lenhart says he received a call on Sunday from a male, using an internet phone system saying he had Thor and was willing to return him. When Lenhart when to the address provided a woman answered the door and did not have the dog.

The couple continues to hold-out hope that Thor will be returned safely. They are fundraising for a reward and have raised $920 of their $1,000 goal. If Thor is not found, the money will be donated to an organization that helps deaf dogs.
