Pedigree Recalls 22 Bags of Dog Food
Mars Petcare US has announced a small voluntary recall of 22 bags of of Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition dry dog food.

Mars recalled the food due to the risk of small metal fragments being in the bags. Although the material would not be found embedded in the food itself, it could still present a risk of injury if consumed.
The recall which affects 22 bags of food is small, but important to note if you or anyone your know feeds Pedigree dog food. Here's what you need to know:
- Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition dry dog food
- 15 Pound bags
- Lot code 432C1KKM03 printed on the back of the bag near the UPC
- Best Before date of 8/5/15.
- Sold in 12 Dollar General stores in four states: Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee.
The company is working with Dollar General to ensure that the recalled product is no longer sold and is removed from inventory.
No other bags of food were affected. If you have purchased the bags listed above, stop feeding immediately. Consumers with questions can contact Mars directly at 800)305-5206 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. CST.
