I’m guessing that if we had to watch hour-long footage of Supreme Court arguments we might be a little bored (perhaps even more than just a little bored). But what if the Supreme Court justices were replaced with dogs?
John Oliver and team of "Last Week Tonight” used some time and resources to depict reenactments of Supreme Court arguments with dogs. Nine canines dressed in black robes sit at the bench. Their mouths move and recorded words come out – a much more entertaining depiction of court discussions than the actual thing! We all know dogs make everything better.
Watch the footage above (start at the 2:14 mark if you want to get straight to the dogs and avoid some content that may not be suitable for children) and let us know what you think on our Twitter page.
Want to make your own Supreme Court video using dogs? Oliver posted audio-free footage for you to do so. Click here to get the template footage. Be sure to post your finished video to our Facebook page.
