Think your dog lives large? The worlds 20 richest pets own combined wealth of over $500 million, according to a report in Londons The Mirror newspaper.
Most of the pets which range from dogs to a hen, chimp and parrot inherited the wealth when their owners died.
Topping the list is German Shepherd Dog Gunther IV, who inherited more than $300 million when his father, Gunther III, passed away. Gunther III inherited the family fortune when his owner, German Countess Karlotta Libenstein, died in 1992.
U.S. dog Toby Rimes, a mixed breed, landed at number three on the list. His owner, the late Ella Wendel of New York City, left him $80 million.
