Forget candy and roses. This Valentine’s Day, give your dog and all canines hope by donating to the Morris Animal Foundation.
In April 2007, MAF launched a global research effort to discover new and effective treatments for dogs who suffer from cancer as well as to fund the search for a cure. When you donate $50, you’ll receive a Canine Cancer Campaign pet tag that can be personally engraved with your dog’s name, information, and special message (if desired). For each additional $50 donation, you’ll receive an engraved tag.
According to the foundation, one in four dogs will die of cancer. Some breeds, such as the Golden Retriever, have an even higher incidence of cancer-caused deaths. To learn more, visit www.morrisanimalfoundation.org or www.curecaninecancer.org
