Charlotte Church’s Vet Bill Costs Her Thousands

UK singer Charlotte Church spends thousands of dollars on her dog’s operation.

British singing sensation and hostess of “The Charlotte Church Show,” Charlotte Church has revealed that she spent thousands of pounds on an operation to save her dog’s life, British newspaper The Sun reports.

Benny, one of the four Jack Russell Terriers Church owns, needed treatment, and fast.

“Benny is 3, but when he was born he had a wild heart beat – three times faster than most dogs,” Church said recently. “He had open heart surgery. He would have died otherwise.”

Church also said that when it came to the health of her beloved dogs, money was no object. “The bill was so expensive, much more than I have ever paid on healthcare for me, or any member of my family. The dogs get all the good treatment.”

Charlotte has three other Jack Russell Terriers – Ike, Tina and Frankie.

I would have done it if it were mine too! I understand were you are coming from I work at a vet and I see all differnet stuff!

I know she must love her fur people because they are part of her family. In England there is free medical for everyone so she never would have to pay medical for any of her human family. I think it's great that she cares so much for them.

She truly loves her dogs and is treating them with the respect they deserve. Just becasue they are dogs doesn't mean they deserve less
