Dogs got the celebrity treatment over the weekend at the Silver Spoon Hollywood Dog and Baby Buffet, Friday and Saturday, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. The two-day event was a chance for new moms to learn about a variety of new products created for babies and dogs.
The outdoor event featured a poolside gift buffet of luxury items, from gourmet dog treats and chew toys to prewalker baby shoes and bath products for babies. The Amanda Foundation also was there with dogs available for adoption.
Organizers of the fifth annual event say the goal is to provide a dog-friendly atmosphere for new moms and their babies, while raising awareness for local animal rescue groups such as the Amanda Foundation. The nonprofit group was formed to help find homes for dogs and cats spending their “final day” at the shelters.
