Dog Camp to Help Raise Canine Cancer Funds

The campaign will benefit Morris Animal Foundation’s fight against canine cancer.

Posted: June 18, 2008, 5 a.m. EDT

Camp Bow Wow, a Denver-based provider of camp-themed daycare and boarding for dogs, began a fundraising effort to benefit Morris Animal Foundation’s Canine Cancer Campaign to fight canine cancer.

Under the program, 26 Camp Bow Wow locations have begun putting special campaign bandanas on dogs under their care and soliciting clients for donations to the Morris campaign. Participating facilities will also display “Help Us Save Your Best Friend’s Life” posters with information on contributing to the foundation.

The company expects to roll out the program to additional sites later this year. More than 50 camps are operating and the company has sold more than 200 franchises to date.
