7th Annual Chinatown Lunar New Year Parade & Festival
When: 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5
What: In honor of the Year of the Dog, the annual Chinatown Parade will feature a special section of proud canine marchers, many dressed in Chinese-style doggie clothes. There will even be adoptable dogs in the parade from the following organizations: Mayors Alliance for NYC Animals, Animal Haven, Animal Care & Control, Bide-A-Wee, Earth Angels Canine Rescue, Good Dog Foundation, and Humane Society of New York.
Where: New York City
Parade begins at Mott and Canal streets, lining up on Mott Street north of Canal, proceeding south on Mott to Chatham Square, up East Broadway, up Forsyth to Eldridge, up Eldridge to Grand, west on Grand to Chrystie, and then splitting and dispersing at Delancey and Canal.

What: Come and see the exciting sport of canine agility: dogs race up, over, and around a steeplechase-style set of obstacles, and are judged on their time and accuracy.
