This Sunday, a special episode of the PBS series Nature takes viewers through the flooded streets of New Orleans as animal rescuers search for stranded animal survivors following Hurricane Katrina.
Katrinas Animal Rescue, a one-hour episode, premiers at 8p.m. It follows pet survivors from rescue to reunion, and takes a look at the fate of animals housed in zoos and aquariums, as well as local wildlife.
The episode was co-sponsored by Bayer Animal Health.
