An Ohio man convicted of marijuana possession and trafficking has filed a lawsuit against Andi, a canine officer that participated in searching the mans furniture and business for drugs, the Associated Press reports. The defendant wants prosecutors to look into the canine officers actions.
They've got a mean ol dog, you know what I'm saying? I take this pretty serious, the man tells the AP. He said he wanted the K-9 officer charged with several different felony accounts.
The lawsuit, which was also filed against police investigators, the local sheriff, and a judge, claims that the search of the mans furniture and business was illegal. It seeks $450,000 in damages.
