Stars Come Out to Help Animal Adoptions

Celebs design dog tags for eBay auction to assist Pedigree drive.

Hollywood celebrities have joined the second annual Pedigree Adoption Drive by designing one of kind dog tags that are being auctioned off on eBay. All money raised in the auction is going to the American Humane Association to help find homes for homeless dogs and cats.

The unique tags, which all include the Pedigree Dogs rule rally cry, have been autographed and personalized with beads, baubles and crystals to showcase each celebritys personal style.

Tags have been designed by actors, including Minnie Driver, Nicollette Sheridan of Desperate Housewives, Maria Menounos of Access Hollywood, Allison Janney of The West Wing, Jason Bateman of Arrested Development and supermodel Molly Sims and Tara Lipinski, gold-metal figure skater.

The Pedigree Adoption Drive is a national fundraiser, which helps to raise $1 million to support shelters.  More than four million dogs are up for adoption each year and about half find homes, according to Pedigree.
