Dogs Days of Summer
Take your dog to a Major League Baseball game.
In ballparks across the country, hot dog has taken on a new meaning. From San Francisco to Chicago and St. Louis, Major League Baseball teams are putting out the welcome mat for fans and their dogs.
The wildly popular one-day events feature all sorts of dog-friendly activities, including pre-game parties and parades where owners show off decked-out dogs in getups that rival the mascots. Some teams even offer a special meet-and-greet with dog-loving players. Most stadiums cap the number of dogs at 500, so be sure to get tickets early.
The following events have already been scheduled. Also, check with your local minor-league team as many hold dog-friendly events, too.
Friday, April 21
Chicago White Sox 11th Annual Dog Day
The dog section is already sold out, but come for the pre-game dog parade.
Thursday, June 15

Four-footed guests enjoy the action from the Pooch Pavilion in the left-field stands.
Sunday, June 18

Saturday, August 5
