While it is great one stolen dog was recovered, we find it quite strange that the second is still missing, or at least that they don't have any clues leading to it. And someone dragging a dog on a pick-up truck? That is cruel and unthinkable! Maybe that person should be tied to a truck and dragged down the road themselves. The two dogs that are being evicted after three years, is cruel and hopefully they won't be separated. Seriously, if no abuse is going on, and they have a great place to stay, they shouldn't be evicted. And what is it with the dog fighting these days? I am glad that the news has taken to dog fighting lately, to show that it is becoming a more growing problem. So if drugs were involved in this Portland case, I find it highly likely that they DID have dogfighting occur. And as we feel about the Michael Vick case, they only SUSPENDED his Nike shoe line? That is understandable if he is found not guilty (not likely), but it should be DONE AWAY WITH, if he is found guilty. This case has outraged us animals, and how could he plead "not guilty" and even with 17 dead dogs found on his property, you have to admit it is highly suspicious and very improbable that he had absolutely NO clue about it. It doesn't look very good.
