Firefighter Saves Dog by Performing CPR
A firefighter performed CPR on a dog, saving its life after responding to a mobile home fire. Firefighter Stephen "Odie" Odom removed one of the dogs trapped in the home, he noticed he was not breathing. Odom began performing CPR on the dog, eventually saving him, the Associated Press reports.

Miami K9 Officer Charged With Neglect in Dog’s Death
Rondal Brown, a K9 officer with the Miami Police Department, was charged Monday with allowing his Bloodhound to starve to death. Prosecutors say they filed two felony counts after investigators determined that Dynasty, 4, was extremely malnourished when she died in late November, USA Today reports.
