Many of the puppies and kittens born in the large-scale pet mill operation were sold to unsuspecting families on the Internet. The tiny pets, now in the custody of the Tupelo-Lee Humane Society, fetched anywhere from $50 to $1,000 through a number of online classified ads, the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports.

Mich. Court Let Police Dogs Sniff Outside of Homes
Police don't need to obtain a search warrant before using dogs to sniff outside a house for drugs, the Michigan Court of Appeals has ruled.
