Dog-Themed Radio Show Moves to L.A.
Pet Talk radio show hits the Southern California airwaves Sept. 23.

Pet expert Harrison Forbes is moving his radio show, Pet Talk, to Los Angeles. For the past 13 years, Forbes has broadcast to thousands of listeners in the Southeast but swaps regions as he makes his Los Angeles debut Sept. 23, 2007, on FM radio station 97.1. His show will air Sunday mornings from 8 to 9 a.m. PST.
Forbes will discuss a variety of issues on his show ranging from how to care for your dog or cat the right way to how to prevent extremely dangerous situations with animals. Each week will feature a celebrity guest interview and debates about pet topics. Forbes will also answer pet behavioral questions such as manners, housebreaking and finding the perfect pet.
In addition, Pet Talk will be a local forum for all related pet events, fundraisers, charitable causes, and local stories. Kerri Kasem will join the show as co-host.
Forbes has been a dog trainer and behaviorist for over 20 years, and has trained and imported over 600 police dogs for departments across the country. For 13 years, he has hosted Pet Talk as well as the Pet Talk TV show. Forbes also has made several talk show appearances, including Live with Regis and Kelly and Larry King Live.
