Pet retailers Petco and Petsmart are prepping their stores for Santa to make appearances at the retailers’ locations nationwide this month. Dogs can meet with Santa, sit on his lap, and pose for a holiday photo – all while helping raise money for pets in need.
Santa will visit Petsmart from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. the first three weekends in December – Dec. 1-2, Dec. 8-9 and Dec. 15-16. The cost is $9.95 ($8.95 for PetPerks members), $5 of which will be donated to a local animal welfare organization. The price includes a digital photo with a holiday frame.

Petco stores will host Santa from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8. For $6.95, customers will receive a framed photo of their pet sitting with Santa, and $5 of that will be donated to a local animal welfare organization.
