Holiday Decorations Help Dogs

It is never too early to start planning for the holidays. For the 2007 season, PetSmart Charities will allow your decorations and presents to go to the dogs with a selection of pet-inspired holiday ornaments and wrapping paper in all PetSmart stores.

In addition to having the coolest canine decorations in town, you’ll have the benefit of knowing that 100 percent of the proceeds from sales will help save the lives of homeless pets through a special program sponsored by Mars Petcare.

The 2007 holiday wrapping paper will feature the artwork of Judy Fleenor. Four designs will be available – two dog and two cat – and each package will contain more than $10 worth of coupons redeemable for Pedigree or Whiskas products. The paper, now available, sells for a buck.

PetSmart Charities also recently kicked off its annual Luv-A-Pet holiday ornament sale. The limited-edition, hand-painted ornaments are available in dog and cat designs, and sell for $10.
