More People Naming Dogs After Pop Culture

Survey finds more pet owners are naming dogs and cats after product brands and popular characters.

More pet owners are giving pets a name that is reflective of pop culture, according to a new survey by pet insurance provider PetFirst Healthcare. Popular pet names included characters from cartoons, sitcoms, and movies, as well as brand names of everyday products and luxury labels. The top-ranking pet names are:
