Stars Hilary Duff, Haylie Duff, and Sara Ramirez of “Grey’s Anatomy” came out to support Much Love Animal Rescue at the animal welfare organization’s annual Bow Wow Wow fundraiser, which was held this year at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles.

“Much Love is dear to our hearts,” said Haylie Duff outside the event. “My sister and I adopted two dogs from them. They really love animals, and make sure they get into good homes.”
Celebrities and others paid $500 per ticket to attend the event, which raised more than $250,000 for the charity – more than twice the amount that was raised last year, according to a Much Love spokesperson. A live auction brought over $50,000, and included a private training session with Cesar Milan that went for $12,000, a Vespa scooter that went for $6,000, boxing gloves signed by Muhammad Ali that went for $10,000, and the opportunity to “shadow” film director Wolfgang Petersen on the set of his next movie that went for $6,000.
The event had been sold out for weeks. Tickets became hot items with people offering double the face value for tickets in the days leading up to the event.
