This is really great. I adopted a dog from a shelter and they guessed at his breed so it would be great to actually find out what he is.

I think this would be very interesting to do with a dog you adopt from a shelter and are really questioning whether it is the breed they say it is. Who knows what the former owner claimed when they turned it in. Or perhaps it is a stray and you're just curious to know what it's genetic make-up is. I wish I would have known about this before I had to have my black and tan coonhound put to sleep. I will always think that she was more Schillerstovare than black and tan.

There is no mention of the company who does this testing nor of the expense involved. I would have to go elsewhere on the web to find out more.

Very interesting. How much does it cost?

Very interesting ... Where is this available now? I would like to test this DNA test. One, with my purebred; two, with my Dal/LabX. I know my Dal mix is at least 50% Dal ... her mother was a beautiful female Dal that I rescued and Beagan is her pup. I'm pretty sure the Dad was a Lab. Darby had a pup that could pass for a purebred chocolate
Lab.

Any interesting thought concerning homeowner's insurance. I can see how it be a benefit or a con against homeowners.

What will this do for homeowners insurance? Will they require a DNA test of mixed breeds to see if they are part of the breeds that homeowners insurance won't cover for?

I would love to have seen the video but it wouldn't connect to the internet. I tried several times.
