I'm very upset with the manufacture's of dog food not testing what they put into the food.Thinking that you might have given a pet, food contaminated with poison or other contaminates is heart breaking for pet owners.

My dog got sick 2 to 3 weeks before the public notice. She was eating Eukanuba and Iams wet chicken & beef adult. Vets bills are now at
$425.
We hope she is on the med. Thanks for the information.

I think it is unfortunate that this happened. I don't feed canned foods so I am thankful for this. This could have happened to human foods also, I believe we are just going to have to test products more before we take them to market, every batch should be tested.

I'm so upset. I was feeding my baby ol'roys pouch as well as mighty dog cans and pouch.... I'm so scared I have not feed him any since last week he seems to be okay thank GOD but I still watch and pray.... For now on he eats what I eat!!!! I went to the Walmart in Lawrenceville/Princeton NJ and there customer services team could care less about this very serious problem... They still have the food on there shelf!!! And when I told them they said that the food on the shelf was good... When I took it to register just to ask another question... When scanned.... Showed up WARNING DO NOT SELL... Yet they refuse to remove it from there shelves..... Please be careful when shopping for your baby food.... There loyalty are too there pockets....

Some Walmarts are not removing recalled foods off the shelf. When someone complained about this they took it off the shelf only to put it back the next day. An employee said the manager instucted the employees to put the food back because they are going to loose to much money. Watch out these stores dont care about your animals and dont keep up with the recall information!!!!

My comment is actually a question. Is there any concern of the dry foods produced by these companies being contaminated?

I have a Yorkshire Terrier this makes me thankful that I have not listened to my vet nor well meaning friends who said I could save money by purchasing a cheaper food that would do the same as the food he's given. It's breed specific and after listening to this problem and the extremely sad stories from pet owners who have lost their babies, I'm very thankful I stuck to my guns.MyYorkie is a member of my family and to lose him because someone (the companies)tried to cut corners to save money and look at bottom line profits - well, I would carry that to my grave. When people put their faith in these companies, they expect the very best for their pets and to think that they (the companies)main concern isn't pet health....shame, shame on them!
