I got to my dog right away when she got sprayed, I think that might help tremendously! I used a handful of puppy shampoo I happened to have and mixed it with baking soda (in my hand), then applied it. Smell came right off!

We tried the Tomato sauce in our dog and it works fine but after the 2nd bath he still smells. I am concern about the recipe that includes Hidrogen peroxide. I think it is too strong for the dog skin. My dog used to be allergic to a few things. He need to be bathed only with Oatmeal Shampoo.

I have found that this remedy does not work very well. It can also be dangerous and you have to avoid your pets face. I have used BioWorld's Odor Neutralizer in the past and it worked great. It is completely safe to use on your

THank you!!!! I needed a solution to take care of my pup's interaction with a new 'friend' this morning on her 5AM walk. I was frantic of what to do and this worked very well.

This "recipe" worked fabulously for me! Somehow, a skunk wandered into our fenced suburban back yard, and our 3-year-old Daschund wound up having a "close encounter" of the very smelly kind. Fortunately, the odor was localized near his head, so we first tried tomato juice--which didn't work at all! So, I went online and found this solution, and it worked great. Our dog was most grateful since it meant he didn't have to spend the night in the garage! Thank you, thank you!

Wow! That's some good advice. I know many of us are probably thinking "oh, that would never happen to my dog!" But I think this is one of those tips of advice that you just want to save-you never know. That's also a good priced remedy compared to taking them in to the groomer!

My dog was sprayed in the face by a skunk last Sunday! What can I use on her that will not hurt her eyes? Please email me at:
