Score 7 We are in the process of trying to build a dog park with volunteers and donations. There are a lot of dogs in our town, a very good veterininary clinic, several humane societies in a 25 mile area, but we still need lots of improvements

Only 7 :(, there are some dog friendly places around, but nowhere near as many as there should be.

Just 8 points, I would really love to see my home town be more active with the animals, it's healthy so they can play more and see different things

In the suburb where I live, I don't recall seeing restaurants where dogs are welcome, but many offer treats when you at the drive-thru window.

Dog owners in our county do not allow dogs at the beach. We have 71 miles of beach front and there is zero tolerance even with a leash. I know some people do it but they risk getting an $150.00 fine. There is a petition started so we can only hope that the powers that be can find one small area to allow dogs at the beach. We have to travel to the counties to the north or south of us. So SAD!

Almost all the restaurants in our Florida town have outside seating and dogs are welcome although they can not sit on a chair at the tables. Many people walk throughout the city and those of us that walk our dogs know all the passing dogs' names. We have many "festivals, etc." and almost all of them are open to dogs that accompany their "masters". It's a great place to live!

our town isnt very big so there arent many restaraunts and hotels and stuff like that in general, but in bigger, nearby towns, there are more places to take your dogs
