Sandra Bullock appeared fine after her Friday collision with an alleged drunk driver: The next day, Bullock was spotted picking up a birthday cake for her Chihuahua, Bebe.
The Boston Herald reported that Bullock visited Gloucester, Mass., bakery Last Stop to pick up the cake. “Last week, a woman ordered a homemade birthday cake for someone named Bebe,” an unnamed source told the Herald. “(She) said someone would pick it up on Friday night.”
The bakery was told to use “guy colors” in the frosting and make the cake look homemade, not “store bought.” The Herald said baker Lauren Suchecki was shocked to see Bullock walk in to pick up the cake.
Bebe, a one-eyed dog, was rescued last year by Bullock, who owns eight dogs with her husband, “Monster Garage” star Jesse James. Several of the couple’s smaller dogs were reportedly in the SUV on Friday when Bullock and James were struck head-on by Lucile Gatchell, who pleaded not guilty Tuesday to driving under the influence and failure to stay in a marked lane. Gatchell is due back in court June 6.
Bullock is in Gloucester to film the romantic comedy “The Last Proposal.”
