Bend, Ore., Bulldogs Doc and Wyatt took home this year's grand-prize in the Sergeant's Pet Care Products "Splish Splash" Photo Contest. Certified dog and cat behavior consultant and national author Steve Dale served as judge in the eight-week contest.
"Selecting a winner was a lot harder than I thought it would be," Dale says. "It's pretty tough to look at nearly 500 pictures of cute dogs and pick the best of the best. But, for me, Doc and Wyatt just stood out from the rest."
Three winners were selected each week and received an Ooh La La! doggie gift basket of boutique items, as well as a spot in the final round. As the grand-prize winners, Doc and Wyatt received a custom portrait of themselves, painted by a professional artist from Art Paw.
Deborah Sprague, Doc and Wyatt's owner, was very excited at the results. "I just have to make sure they don't let this go to their heads!” she says about her two Bulldogs.
