he doesnt know his nam. {Micky} and of course we want him to learn it quickly for training. plus he finds every leave in the yard and eats them. they are from a non-toxic tree, but still they can't be good for him, are they?

Yeysy - Limit the are they get to be in until there is more control. It helps them understand and earn the right to be out and about.

I got my much loved yorkie in January. I literally - in freezing and snowy weather - took her out to my shoveled area in my back yard EVERY HOUR for a whole month except for sleeping at night. Every time she bathroomed outside I clapped with delight and gave her a treat.

And I literally planned and had my coat and boots at the backdoor. There were many times that I just did not want to do it anymore but I did it and it has paid off. My dog is now trained to go potty in the backyard. You have to make the commitment and if you have to devote your only 2-week vacation to getting your lifelong pet trained how you want it, it is worth it. You could do dog-training on this stay-home vacation.

My Yorkie is 7 months old and goes to the bathroom whereever it suits her....sometimes outsides but mostly inside on the kitchen floor.

I don’t know how to train her not to keep potting everywhere in the house even on the furniture, and she is already 10 months old.

Whichever name you choose, use it often and always in a positive way. Never use the dog's name when you scold him, and never call a dog to you and then scold him.

This information was basic and good to get. Thanks
