Pit bulls aren't really aggressive, they are just thought as such because they are often conditioned to be aggressive for pit fights, and when pit bulls become aggressive for whatever reason, they are harder to control because of their strength. Pit bulls can pull 30 times their body weight!

We don't need that many dogs like that.

Pit Bulls always get such a bad rap but they're really sweet dogs. It's the owners who destroy them.

This sounds like a wonderful program about the pit bulls. More people need to understand that they can be a family pet, and maybe if they can get them neutered/spayed cheap, it will help.

I don't think that pitt bulls should be run out just because a few of them have a bad rep. Pitt Bulls are not my favorite breed, but they might be some one elses.

Wonderful Idea when we went to the shelters looking for a new dog in FL..they all looked like they were relatives of the pitbull..wide face etc..we finally bought a dog from a breeder.

As an animal control Officer I feel that any assistance provided to low income families with pets is great. I love Pit bulls! Population control is a goal every state should share.
