My cocker, Josh, has had these terrible bumps for a year now. Several trips to the vet, shampoos and medications $$$. The say it's an allergy, but no one knows to what! I have tried several new foods nothing working yet. I recently learned about coconut oil. I started using it a few days ago, so I don't know if it's working yet. Chuck, you should google it, if it does all it says, we may have an answer. I will look into this shampoo, anything is a help.

Please HELP !! My Blue Roan Cocker has , and have had tehse terrible " bumps " that have consumed a good portion of his body. I've taken him to VET twice, and a few hundred $$ later, no change . I've purchased several different dry foods ,as well as multiply shampoos..... You can " flake " them off with a fingernail , which he doesn't mind at all , but the problem continues to grow.... " BLEU " desperately needs your suggestions..

I read this a couple weeks ago when I was searching for a way to help my cocker with her skin problems. Roxie is a 3 year old rescue who came into our lives last October. She has been through 3 rounds of antibiotics and steroids, baths twice a week and her bumps were coming back again. I read about Micro Tek and thought I'd give it a shot. I'd add to the collection I had of shampoos. I bathed her as soon as I received the shampoo and have been using the spray twice a day. I am thrilled to share with you that 50% of her bumps are gone and the rash on her tummy has cleared up. I'm very impressed with this product.

Our cocker is 9 yrs old and we have been fighting skin problems for over 4 yrs. She has been on keflex (antibiotic), prednisone, ketoconazole, Vitamin A, shampoos including antifungals, antibacterials, antiseborrheic, you name it she's been on it. We finally found a product in pill and shampoo formulas that proved amazing results, but after using this product her liver enzymes sky-rocketed as though she was in liver failure. Once we stopped using this product the liver enzymes came down, but the skin problems have exacerbated out of proportion. She smells to high heavens and now has developed small cystic type lesions that have a thick, waxy exduate in them. We have sent for new shampoo, one I believe is the MicroTex discussed one this site. Hopefully we have luck because I'm tired of my house smelling like puky, stinky feet and looking at a poor dog with lesions all over her body!!

I have a cocker spaniel who is 8yrs. old. He is an absolute sweetheart. But about a yr. ago he started with what looked like a couple of lumpy cists. They grew and opened up and bled. The vet put him on an anti-biotic. They healed up, however now they went on to overtaking his skin like round black lumps on top of his skin. You can literally pick them off with your nails. They are almost sticky, and fur comes with it. If you overdo the picking of them they will bleed. They are a brownish black and if you pet him you can feel them all over him as lumps. I bathe him regularily with anti bacterial and anti fungal shampoos and his sleeping bed is changed regularily etc. The vet says he can biopsy them at the cost of a few hundred dollars. I want to be able to clear this up naturally and not draining me financially. What can I do. What is causing this. I have even tried very natural foods and omega oils in his food. I am at a loss. Thank you.

I have an amercian cocker spanial/ 5yrs old....blk with white patch on front. He has a beautiful shiny coat but recently developed a scaby
patch
on his head and lost the hair in that area. Vet recommended anti-fungal cream but now he is developing more crusty spots on his ears and
head/neck.
Your article is helpful and I plan to purchase a

medicated shampoo.

My 5yr. cocker female has seborhea skin black dots all over after biopsies performed and sent to Dog dermatoligist in FLA, now she has a Tbsp. Hain Safflower cooking oil once daily, plus 10,000 IU of Vitamin A. Its based on a genetic skin problem and low vitamin A in her system. Otherwise she is healthy, have been using this formula for 4 months and also she has to be groomed and kept in a very buzzed coat year round, and bathed in an antifungal shampoo. She is doing great in this routine with the oil, vitamin a, monthly short grooming and antifungal bath. We are in remission so far. Not an expensive regime to do all the time. The short coat is a must.

I have a cocker/weathon female dog, she seems to have the skin conditions of the cocker spaniel, so I bought antibiotic and atistamine creams to help her but i dont know if that is help full, i assumed that the antistamine would help with the itchiness and the antibiotic would exterminate the flaky skin, is there anything else i can do for her? i dont have money to take her to the vet so please help us!

Our cocker spaniel has been having scabs on her tummy and under her arms. We have been to the vet 4 times already and they think it was originally due to a groomer burning her with the shaving blade. We have her cut short. The one vet thought it could be a staff infection others yeast infection....we need some help here. The sores are mainly around the nipples and under the legs. She itches constantly. The itching causes black flakes to go onto the sheets.

Thank you! It is the closest we have come to an answer for our dogs skin condition. The Vet is stumped. We have been taking the dog for over a year, doing everything they say and still the problem persists. With the info we learned at Dog Channel.com maybe the vet will be able to help.

My daughter's cocker spaniel had horrible rashes on her undercoat. After oral medications and medicated shampoos and creamrinses, we tried a natural cream that my brother-in-law just patented. It was orginally intended for the treatment of scarring and burns for people, but have found it has dramatic effects on pets also. After only one application 1/2 of the infected area completely disappeared while the other 1/2 was visibily improved. I am now recommending that he market this product to pet owners as it worked wonders. If you have any interest in trying this product you may email me for a sample.

I have a beautiful cocker spaniel that had the same exact skin condition, I've tried everything. I researched and finally she was cured with "Malaseb Shampoo" & so this is what I always use for her bathing.

It's Features
are:
• Malaseb Shampoo is ideal for generalized or multifocal therapy of dermatitis in dogs, cats and horses

• An antifungal with potent activity against fungi and yeast

• A proven antimicrobial agent active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria

• This synergistic formulation effectively removes scales, degreases the skin and kills cutaneous microorganisms that primarily or secondarily cause dermatitis

• Clinical trials show Malaseb to be an effective treatment and control of Seborrheic dermatitis associated with Malassezia pachydermatitis and Staph intermedius

You can Buy it at
http://www.workingdogs.com/store/grooming-51817801- 1-B000RI4LLY-Malaseb_Shampoo_12oz.html
or search on the web or favorite pet
store.
&
for maintaining EARS CLEAN use: antimicrobial soluton "Chlorhexiderm® Flush" It's the
best.
http://www.vetrxdirect.com/product/view/chlorhexid- erm-flush

It's
features:
ChlorhexiDerm® Flush is a general cleansing and drying formulation with gentle and non-irritating surfactants. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate for antimicrobial
activity.

Hope this helps....I would not change these for
anything!!!!

Good
Luck!!
Some who cares.....
