Vicki Fallon, NV 3/26/2008 9:29:06 AM It is nice to see our favorite sport being showcased.Thank you for posting the pictures of our boy Bruiser (his call name)he is an UKC reg Am Pit Bull Terrier. Reg. name is UWPO UWPCHX CH 'PR'Genuine Gentlman Of Midnite Sun. Bru is both a Conformation and Weight Pull Champion, was #11 on last years UKC Weight pull All Stars and currently #2 on this years list. Something to be noted is while you can train any dog to pull,it takes a strong desire to please to in order to become a Champion.Bruiser is one of those dogs. He gets so excited to see his harness come out and he will literally scream to get his turn out on the track. He pulls for the sheer love of it. These dogs are leash free when pulling and can quit or refused to pull at any time and they know it. Weight pulling is a fun sport with everyone supporting and helping each other. It is easy to get started in and a great way to exersize a high energy dog. I encourage anyone with a physical sound dog to consider giving this sport a try
