Jack Russell Terriers are smart, fiesty, and energetic dogs. If they are not given something to do, they will become destructive. Jack Russell Terriers were orginally bred for ratting, which means they are very fast and are great tunnelers. This dog looks like he is having the time of his life. Yes, there is a human standing next to the dog, but the man and his dog do this as a sport. This is called "Dog Cliff Diving". It is safe (unless an owner with and IQ less than average lets his dog jump off a cliff without a life jacket and into jagged rocks) Don't worry. This dog is safe and having the time of his life. Yes, I know if this was your dog, you would never let him do this, but this dog and his owner are highly trained. There was a special on Animal Planet about it. So my main point is just don't worry that the dog is unsafe. I am a dog expert and I know what I am talking about. Get it? Got it?
And remember to rescue dogs instead of going to a breeder.

Jack Russells are really tough and brave dogs. They love to jump off things and I know that because my dog Pokey is one and she loves jumping off logs into the water! There was a person next to it and the dog did have a life jacket on, but I think the dog was made to jump. Since the owner was there I think they should have not let the dog do that even if the jack russell wanted to jump off. I know I would never let Pokey do something like that, she is my baby. Would YOU let your HUMAN baby jump off a cliff into the water?

What the hell is wrong with you people? He is perfectally safe! I have done stunt jumping from bigger hights and I am ok! The hight to hurt a dog is something lke 75 feet. He is ok! The dog channel wouldn't let him stay on their websight if he got hurt!

The dog is not hurt or dying! I saw a show on animal planet and the dog is VERY VERY SAFE! The man and his dog put on life jackets, find a SAFE spot on the top of a cliff, and then the dog's owner helps him jump. The owner jumps in after him. Everyone's safe. Got it? Stop saying bad things about this video please. Real dog lovers are
