Good article. For people who are concerned with the pet's "red eye" aka 'glo laser eye' effect while taking a pic indoors or night. Avoid the Cam Flash direct-reflection off the eyes. Either bounce the flash, or diffuse the flash, or have the pet look to the side slightly with an person-aide use(s) of toy, treat, or command.

Thanks, I will try this. If I keep my distnce, ( i usually have to zoom so much it is blurry) When I get close, he gets all excited and jumps. I will try this.

Everytime I take my dogs picture her eyes look like light bulbs,I read the manual on how to prevent this but it still doesnt work.Any ideas are welcome

Wonderful idea. My Schnauzer is used to pictures but not always cooperative. A treat is a great motivator especially if Dad is standing behind me.

This helped a lot when we would take family pictures with our dog. Good article.
