Good article but I would love to see an article on shy/timid dogs such as mine that are afraid of the camera. She runs when she sees it. She was a rescue so I don't know what has happened in the past but this is something I can't seem to get her to overcome

I have taken pictures of my dog since he was a puppy. He is very familiar with getting his picture taken, and likes it.

My dogs a so photogenic every time i just take out my camera he just goes does a pose and smiles!

my beagle is funny, whenever I hold a camra up she immediatly strikes a pose for me. she very photogenic.

I am not a professional pet photographer, but as a professional pet care provider, I do take pics of all my clients. I've found that the best way to get the most candidly awesome shots is to engage in play time and snap shots the the dog in action. It works wonderfully and the pictures are priceless!

I will definitely try these tips. I usually take pictures of my puppy when he is asleep because that's when he is still. Good article!

i already took like a million pics of my dog. And they are awsome, I always try to find just the right time to take the photo. But don't worry.. I will try those tips, i am sure the photos will turn out great!!!! :-) p.s thatnks for the tips!!!
