Teann - 255698 7/10/2012 6:29:41 AM Me and my husband are proud owners of a American Bulldog... She showed up at the golf course, that my husband works at about 4 yrs ago and was starved to the point that you could count every rib on her.. So very sad..Once I feed her, she laid head in my lap and I knew I couldn't let her go..We use a oatmeal base shampoo on her and it seems to help with the rash she sometimes gets..She is so very smart, listens so well, very protective of her momma(me), we couldn't ask for a better dog..My husband takes her out to the golf course and she gets plenty of exercise, and everyone loves her..Will never own another breed but this one...

christine honolulu, HI 1/26/2010 8:42:39 PM My dog seems to get skin infections often. He has been to the vet repeatedly and they continue to prescribe him antibiotics, which is getting a bit expensive. I used a medicated shampoo, which didn't help so i switched to an organic shampoo. Do you have advise on what I should do? He has bumps on his skin. Some times he bleeds from bumps on his chin. Im just running out of options and i cant keep spending on antibiotics.
Roxanne Cleveland, OH 6/15/2009 8:08:22 AM My dog seems to have a smell to him. His coat feels oily. Is there something I can put on his coat to get rid of the smell and oil?
Tanya Chaparral, NM 1/18/2009 8:33:54 AM There is a natural shampoo from origins called "Doggy Dip" it is a little more expensive than other shampoos but it is super gentile and smells of lavender and leaves the skin moisturized and smelling fresh and the coat looks shiny and healthy and soft!
