dr mark margate, NJ 1/31/2009 10:44:22 AM as a veterinarian, and owner of a dachshund, I was a bit surprised at your articles on "aching backs" and "choosing a dog food" that you did not include info on alternative medicine, such as chiropractic and accupuncture, and did not discuss raw diets. you should. if you need someone who knows how to, I would be happy to write an article. I am routinely published in animal wellness magazine, so I have experience.
Roxie Idaville, IN 1/3/2009 9:54:14 AM This is our 6th year breeding Miniature Doxies in our home. We can't imagine our lives without them. We see an increasing popularity every year. The computer gets us in contact the most with other Dachshund lovers.
Dee Hillsorough, NJ 11/30/2008 10:14:11 AM I slso own a dauchie that spent 6 months in a pet store, having a blood problem. Then after a few more months in another home, he was brought to me. He's nine now and since he cannot come with me toMom's anymore-at 87, she's something else, he started acting up. He's on puppy prozac now to calm down and he's realizing that I always come back home to him and his brother a 9 yr old large Pom. KoKo snuggles under my arm and sleeps sitting half up on the couch with me all evening. No one or thing crosses his path without him alerting me.
Robert Brooklyn, NY 11/2/2008 7:32:22 AM This article about Dachshunds is right-on.It peaked my interest so much that I went out to my local pet store to buy the magazine, I wanted to keep reading.Rusty, my long-haired miniture Dachshund puppy, has the most beautiful, shiny red coat, and fiesty personality. He is a lot of spunk in a pretty package!

June Rogers, AR 9/22/2008 11:16:25 AM My Little Pris is one of the sweetest babies ever, and she never sees a stranger. In the last 18 mos. she has loved everyone that she has met, but one and that is my sons last girlfriend. Every time she sees her she growls and barks at her, after they broke up she loved my son again. Kinda makes you wonder huh!
Barbi Manassas, VA 7/22/2008 4:02:55 PM I agree with everything in this article about doxies. They love their owners but they want there way or the high way.
Lou Ann Siloam Springs, AR 2/28/2008 7:30:21 PM I have volume 10 of Popular Dogs Dachshunds that I purchased 2 years ago. I love it, but I can't find any new issues. Are there new issues? I hope so, because I have 4 doxies and I really enjoyed the magazine.
