They have a brain like Eienstein and a sense of humor like the three stooges - very comical and easy to train, they love to please you. They bind extremely well with families and they don't bond to only one person like some other breeds do. Smart and very sensitive - they know how you feel before you know it yourself. All of our poodles were attentive nurse-maids to sick children, staying close, watching over them and keeping them warm. A good poodle will change your life. They have changed mine.
Stephanie Anchorage, AK 1/19/2010 8:25:13 PM I adore my poodles. I had to leave my toy poodle (who is now 14 years old) back home in Minnesota with my parents when I moved up to Alaska. I waited about a year before I bought miniature poodle. I wouldn't trade either of my poodles for the world. They are both very loyal and loving dogs.
norma east hampton, CT 11/6/2009 8:41:18 AM i lve my poodle. he is a minature poodle and is so very smart. he can identify all his toys and knows which one to grab when asked. my poodle is 17 years old now. i love him to pieces. he is a joy to have around since i am handicapped and cant get around much.

suzette foresthill, CA 12/12/2008 7:10:06 AM I am now on my 4th poodle in 25 years of owning poodles and I love the breed they are the most loyal loving breed I know of and being a professional dog groomer for 28 years I enjoy working on poodles most of any breed in the dog fancy they know when they look pretty and they definitely have an air of dignity about them for sure.they make wonderful companions and friends best friends.
PAUL FRASER CLERMONT, FL 10/5/2008 7:00:40 AM I HAVE HAD SIX POODLES. SPANNING FROM SIX YEARS OF AGE TO MY NOW FORTY YEARS. THEY ARE GREAT COMPANION DOGS AND VERY SMART. MY WIFE AND I RECENTLY RESCUED A BLACK TOY (WITH WHITE GOATEE!) AND SPENT A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY GETTING HIM HAPPY AND HEALTHY. HE IS NOW THRIVING AND LEARNING BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS. HE IS VERY SILLY TOO! WE LOVE OUR LITTLE TOBY:)
