By far and large the best dogs ever!Have three now.Smartest breed hands down.Extremly charming and cunning you could end up sharing your meal with them if you don't watch yourself!

I thought I studied the breed before we got our dog Michelob...but there were things I am still learning along the way....I guess the biggest issue is his kids are starting to be in their 20s and no one spends enough time with him...thats the problem...anyway....we all love him and I would not pick any other breed.....he is so much fun...Tony

I love springer spaniels . After our first one had to be put down due to sickness I knew there was no other dog for me.

After our last Terrier died, my husband decided he wanted a little larger dog. Our Vet is a great fan of the English Springers and suggested we look at them. We did and came home with a female puppy. Just a months later, I adopted a male that was less than a year old. We love our "bird dogs". Getting use to the dog-hair has been difficult, so we just say that it's just a condiment at our house.(Get a good vacuum!) Our four-legged-kids even travel with us in our motorcoach. We have alot of fun with our Springers. They are very loving and devoted dogs. We made the right choice for us. Good Luck!
