We have two very smart and adorable rat terriers that we would do anything for, and would love to see more literature and recognition for this amazing breed.
Tracy Brockville, ON 1/21/2008 3:41:30 PM My husband & I adopted a Rat Terrier in May 2007. Before he came home to us I researched everything about the breed, and adopting a mature dog. I have to say we were a little nervous as he had issues with separation anxiety(some destructive behaviours), but once home he quickly became a member of our family, enjoys everywhere with us, and had no problems at all. He is extremely intelligent, easy to train, eager to please, great with our kids and just an absolute joy. I would recommend this breed to anyone.
