I personally myself think it's good for dogs to work for food to appreciate it more and make it taste better. I have a 2 year old pitbull which i make him sit and "speak" for his food.

Dear Ceasar, My name is Trish I have a Dalmation Pitt mix breed great loveable dog but every time she eats itis like her last meal.She is house broken but she never gets full. Any suggestions?

If you have a food aggressive dog...yes this is the way to go. But for an already laid back dog that could care less about feeding time there is no point in practicing this - I had to show excitement about food and get my dog excited just for her to think about eating food.
