I think this is a wonderful idea, and I dont think purebreds should be expempt. Breeders and show dog owners and others who require unaltered dogs could be provided with special licencing. I am with a rescue group and all we do is clean up after breeders, not just the backyard ones. The breeders dont seem to care and they dump there poor females and dont give them necessary medical treatment. They dont support rescue, so we are paying for them to make money off the pups. Neutering would also decrease the number of aggressive dogs in the wrong hands.

I think thats a great idea. To many dog being left without homes because no one wants them. There is no sense putting an animal to sleep when it could have been prevented.

I would like to find out more details in this proposal.I do think there are too many breeders;some are excellent, but many keep interbreeding and this causes all sorts of problems in the dogs. If we could breed knowing the puppies will be well cared for thats great. What about the breeding of some fighting dogs. I just found one that was dumped on the street. There are several pure breds who need to be rescued, I have 2, a tibbie and a pom.
