Greyhounds have been raced for years which means that they are kept in small confined areas and forced to run/train when they do not necessarily want to. It is also sad that people find it entertaining to go and gamble on a dog at a race. This is allowed in our country when we have made it illegal for dog fights. Neither of these are good situations for any dog.
