Annette Fort Lauderdale, FL 8/28/2008 12:12:49 PM ME, ME, ME - I would suggest you take some time and educate YOUrself about the atrocities that are happening all around YOU and then YOU might understand why some of us (like Meredith and others) cry when we hear about poor helpless creatures that live their lives 24/7 in a cage, with MINIMAL food, water, shelter from the elements only to give birth and care for their young again and again until they no longer can produce puppies and then are KILLED. All so some sho'mo can make an all mighty buck! These are living, breathing, and unconditionally-loving creatures that never know love in return from the day they are born until the day they die. Obviously YOUr opinion is based on YOUr lack of knowledge i.e. ignorance and YOUr selfish attitude and WE take it with a grain of salt.

Those dogs are completely defenseless.

I have read about this, but, couldn't believe it, until I saw it on the Oprah show. I was wondering about Sophie, but, I see she passed away. I know I lost my cocker just a year ago, so hard.
