Pam in MO Lebanon, MO 12/30/2012 2:21:16 PM Our little Jasmine will eat only one dry dog food: Biljack which is difficult to find. She loves people food! She prefers chicken to beef. I wouln"t feed her raw food, besides she wants her meat cooked. she loves vegetables raw or cooked. No one has mentioned those. Anyone know if they are good or bad?
LuvMyPets Somerset, OH 12/6/2012 5:05:54 AM To Charlene: I think you are doing the right thing. If you're talking about dry food, the dogs can eat frequently and gain weight. Don't get me wrong...LOL...I have 2 cats who weigh over 20 lbs. each because they are constantly grazing on their food. If you are using moist or canned dog food, it can pick up bacteria if left out all day and you don't want that. I have a beagle pup who will eat ANYTHING...that's part of her breed and partly because she doesn't know any better so I keep her rationed. Hope this helped.
Patrick Bartlett, IL 3/29/2012 9:17:33 PM While the information is interesting, it is generic without specifics as to which types of brands. Most people, and I include myself, would prefer some brand recommendations or rankings to be included.

Charlene Breaux Bridge, LA 7/8/2010 12:19:26 PM I currently feed my four dogs a meal morning and night--is it better to ration like I'm doing or should they be allowed to freely eat food left out all the time?
