My Golden Retriever battled Mesothelioma for 2 years and was on chemo for the 2 years. He lived until he was 13 1/2 and put up a brave battle. Dr. Gerald Post and his wonderful staff at the Animal Hematology and Oncology Center in Norwalk, Connecticut were supportive of both my dog and for me. Dakota,my Golden, and I were both battling the disease together as a team. I had him on Chinese Herbs, cooked special foods, did accupuncture and anything else that was recommended.I would do whatever is necessary to help erradiate this disease and not let another animal go through what Dakota went through. You have my support!

My beloved Kelli, companion and friend of 13-1/2 years died from lymphoma. It started with an eye infection, which then spread over her face as a Demadex mite infection. We were told this was prevalent in puppies or dogs with who suffered from a stressed immune system. Then the lymph nodes in the throat enlarged. We biopsied and sure enough, lymphoma. She died 2 months after she was diagnosed (we had her euthanized on 6/27/08). I miss her beautiful face.
